Welcome to the world Gage! Pictured right is our precious little boy, Gage, at 2 days old in NICU. What an entrance this little one made. He was delivered by the Calgary Fire Department after my husband called 911 to ask for help. My labour progressed so quickly and at approx. 6:50 am , we knew we were not going to make it to the hospital. At 7:01, the fire truck arrived and at 7:10, Gage was born.
Gage has been diagnosed with Down Syndrome and is doing really well, all things considered. He is expected to come home sometime next week. He will be on oxygen for a period of time to help his heart develop but other than that, he is eating like a champ and pooping like one too (yuck!)...all good signs in babyland.
Things will be a little slow with momstown on my end until we get Gage on track but I encourage you all to connect with each other. Please let me know if I can post anything on the calendar for you to help get you out and about.
