One sunny Saturday, a trio of momstown mamas, some spouses and kids (the boys outnumbered the girls for a change!!) headed to the Rocky Mountains for a much deserved break from city living. We started the day off with a riverside picnic then packed the littles into strollers for a walk/easy hike at Ribbon Creek in Kananaskis. We did a loop and at the halfway mark, we purposely stumbled onto Kananaskis Village where we played at the playground and ate ice cream cones. What a great day...surrounded by good people and amazing scenery...and just long enough to tucker the little ones out for the car ride home. momstown will be heading out to the mountains again in July.
