This Program recognizes that many babies born to families in Calgary go without cribs to sleep in, babies whose parents must improvise makeshift cribs out of dresser drawers and laundry baskets. Some of the items they collect are cribs, playpens, mattresses and bumper pads, sheets, blankets, formula, diapers, wipes, toiletries and more. The cribs and items collected will help infants in need, in Calgary, put their best first foot forward!
Erin, an Independent Steeped Tea Consultant planned a Fundraising Tea Party in January to benefit No Crib For a Bed. In addition to generously donating all of her commission at this event, Erin also encouraged guests to donate cash and baby items. With the help of the momstown Message Board, Erin was able to spread the word and raise awareness for this cause.
Erin had lots of help with this event from momstown member CeCe, momstown Community Manager Danielle, and also from member Gabby who opened up her home to host it.
