Pennies For Change

Now that the penny is fazing out of the Canadian currency circulation, what are you going to do with all those pennies that are sitting in your change jar?

momstown Calgary would love to take them off your hands!  We are collecting pennies for the Little Warriors Pennies for CHANGE!

Little Warriors is a national charitable organization, based in Canada, focusing on the education and prevention of sexual abuse.  Little Warriors teaches adults how to help prevent, recognize and react responsibly to child sexual abuse.  In addition Little Warriors also provides information about the prevalence and frequency of child sexual abuse and information about healing and support resources.  Little Warriors' vision is to build the first of its kind treatment centre for children, the Little Warriors Be Brave Ranch.

Please spread the word that momstown Calgary is collecting pennies!

If you wish to donate, please bring your pennies to a momstown Calgary event until the end of March.  Marcy, Danielle and Lindsey will be collecting them.

As a special thank you to ALL that donate their pennies, you will be entered into a draw for one of two $100 Gift Certificates from Tri-Yoga Calgary.  This draw will be made at our Member Meet-Up on Friday April 1st at 10:30am at the Bridgeland Riverside Community Centre.

Tri-Yoga Calgary offers a wide variety of programs in a supportive yet challenging environment for self discovery, well-being, balance and where everyone is welcome and feels comfortable.  Their hot yoga studio features a world class, state of the art heating and ventilating system that is heated up to 102F (or 90F for warm classes) and 50% humidity to help cleanse the body and warm the muscles.  A regular temperature studio is also available.
