Our moms were interested in finding out how they could take this out of the can product (with no preservatives) and turn it into a nutritious and delicious meal that the entire family would enjoy.
We started out with the kids making their chef hats to go with their Chef Boyardee aprons.
All you need to make these cute chef hats is a poster board cut into a strip to fit around your child's head, color it, wrap and tape so its a circle like a hat, line the inside with tape and stuff tissue paper up inside sticking to the tape so it makes a "puff" out the top of the paper circle.
Our lunch menu consisted of Chef Pizza-roni Skillet , while this was cooking the kids and moms made a mini take home Chef Boyardee Ravioli Lasagna loaded with spinach and ricotta cheese!
Lunch is ready! The kids gobbled up the Pizza-roni Skillet and the moms loved the extra veggies and ingredients you can add. This easy to assemble hearty meal is a great go to when you need to whip up something in a pinch.
Thank you Chef Boyardee for such a terrific event! The kids had a blast and the moms loved the free swag they got to take home!
