There are definitely advantages to living in Calgary. Among them, is that warm, winter air. Wait a minute. Did I just say "warm" and "winter" in the same sentence whilst referring to Calgary? Yup, I sure did!! Just when you think you've had it up to here with Old Man Winter, a chinook blows in. That warm, winter air in mid-January allows us to don just a sweater and maybe some mitts; something our friends to the north can hardly brag of. Our momstown family took advantage of this gorgeous January day and headed to Bowness Park for a fun (and free!!) family skate. The preschoolers rocked it on skates, the toddlers laughed uncontrollably from the coziness of a sled while our babes hitched a ride, snug as bugs, in the stroller.
