Summer Crafting

After many days of rain, the sun finally let its rays shine down.  If you are anything like me, you are taking advantage of the nice weather by breaking out the gardening gloves, diggin' out the outdoor toys, setting up the patio furniture and maybe even rounding up some stuff for your very own yard sale.  It's time consuming, I know.  But, it has to get done.

While the nice weather provides an excellent opportunity to knock some things off of the to do list; it's also nice to take a break and enjoy the sunshine with your kids.  Right now, both of my kids are lovin' all things summer: sunhats and sandals, bubbles and swings, the juicy, sweetness of watermelon and the icy, cold of a freezie (the last of which, by the way, does wonders for a teething baby).

When we are stuck inside, it's nice to recreate that summertime feeling and so, we gave this craft a whirl.  While my youngest was a wee bit too young to participate in the creation of it, he certainly enjoyed inhaling the real thing.
