Calgary Moms and Kids Loved momstown Boo Bash!

Pirates, Princesses, Super-Heros and enough Animals to fill a zoo - they all showed up to party at our momstown Calgary 1st Annual Boo Bash!

Canyon Meadows Cinemas generously hosted over 100 moms and their kids to a morning of crafts, games, toys and movies!

The kids got crafty making cotton ball ghosts, treat bags and paper pumpkins.  They also molded some fun shapes with some home-made orange play dough!

But the busiest place of the morning was definitely the Fisher-Price Play Area!  The kids 'toy tested' loads of great new Fisher-Price toys and later had a chance to win them!

I think the favourite toy of the day was the Fisher-Price Cruise & Groove Ballapalooza!  This brand new toy from Fisher Price is colourful, lights up, plays sounds and includes balls - what more could a kid ask for!!

We had some great sponsors join us as well: CST Consultants were providing our moms with some great information on their RESP Scholarship Trust products; Lauren from Team in Training was sharing information on the upcoming Vancouver Half-Marathon that momstown is participating in; and Amy from Let's Learn Together was introducing her new education business to the moms.

A huge thanks to Erin from Erin Valerie Photography for capturing all the cute kids in their costumes!

After all that playing, our moms and kids sat down to watch some mini Halloween themed movies with some of their favourite television characters!  While they were watching, we raffled off all of our amazing prizes!

Thank you to everyone that came out!  Hope to see you at our momstown Holiday Party this December.  Watch our facebook page for more details!

  1. This was such a great event! There was obviously a lot of work that went into the planning, as it was a flawless day! My girls LOVED playing with the toys, and my 4-year old daughter had a blast with all of the crafts. It was also really special, as it was her first time seeing a movie in a big theatre. Thank you so much for the fantastic experience!!
