Learning the Alphabet through play at momstown.

One of our signature events we run at momstown is our Alphabet Play program. Each month we explore a new letter based on the momstown educational theme of the month and using  the letter create  a craft that connects it all together. Of course this is followed by play time for the kids and mommy talk time for our moms.

"A" was for Apple in September so we took a print out of the letter "A", ripped up tissue paper and glued it all in the outline. Next the kids practices their fine motor skills and cut the letter out, glued it onto a plain paper and added a green tissue paper stem to finish it off.

"B" was for bird in August. The kids cut out the letter "B" from construction paper, then glued down all sorts of colored feathers , adding a googley eye and a orange beak to create their bird.

Play is just as important to a child so after craft time the kids get to burn off some energy while moms get to connect together.

Thank you to Stir Crazy Family Fun Center for hosting our monthly Alphabet Play program.
