How to make a Alphabet place mat:

Using letter stickers (or letter cut outs from magazines) stick them to a piece of construction paper, adding letter drawings, shapes etc. Using apiece of Contact paper ( I picked up a role from the craft store) slightly larger then the construction paper, remove the paper backing exposing a sticky surface.  Place the construction paper face down on the sticky Contact paper. Using a second piece of Contact paper remove backing and place on top of the other side of construction paper. Use your hand to rub out any bubbles/creases. Trim down a border around the construction paper and viola you now have a wipeable place mat! 

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                  After playtime the kids enjoyed a snack of Alpha-Bits cereal. Eating the cereal without milk allows a great opportunity for kids to practice their fine motor skills. Kids loved it and so did the moms.
