Thank you to Kim Hayden for her delicious recipe, it is my go -to comfort cookie recipe! The cookies stay soft and chewy ... the best fresh from the oven!
Ginger Cookies:
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cup butter/margarine
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup molasses
- 4 cups flour
- 3tsp baking soda
- 2 tsp cinnamon
- 2 tsp cloves
- 2 tsp ginger
Mix all ingredients well, roll into balls. Sprinkle with sugar, bake at 350 for 12-13 minutes.
Do not over bake. One batch will make approx 6 dozen cookies.
Enjoy :)
