momstown is turning 4, and no birthday would be complete without a party. We're not just having one celebration though, we're having 18 of them. Yes, you heard that right. Throughout the month of August, each of our regional momstown chapters will be hosting a huge birthday bash for momstown, and we're hosting national facebook and twitter parties too. It's going to be a whole month full of birthday fun.
Our Calgary event takes place on August 28th at Joso's Play and Learn Centre from 10am to 12:00pm, and it is one event you don't want to miss. We're taking over the entire facility for a morning filled with indoor playground play, stories, circle time, crafts and more. The incredibly talented Eilidh of Light on Paper Photography will be on hand to document the fun, and take priceless pictures of your family. There will be loot bags, delicious nut free cupcakes from Bliss & Co. Cupcakes and Desserts (they are even providing us with a few gluten free ones for those with Celiac disease and other wheat sensitivies - how awesome is that?), and door prizes from our fantastic national and local sponsors. We haven't forgot about you moms of babies and moms-to-be either. Nichole and friends from Stick With Me Baby will be there to provide demonstrations and consultations on baby wearing. You will be able to try out a bunch of different carrier options, and get professional advice on which one might be right for you.
